On Mont St Michel we tried the omelettes the island is famous for- the most expensive lunch in my life, but hey-<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2010\/10\/DSC_1263.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-207\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2010\/10\/DSC_1263.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"257\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It looks enormous, but it was light and fluffy, with lovely salty fried ham served on the side. Great stuff!<\/p>\n<p>The day after Ivan had a seafood platter for lunch;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2010\/10\/DSC_13281.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-209\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2010\/10\/DSC_13281.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"257\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That was refreshing change after the horribly overcooked shrimps we came across the night before.<\/p>\n<p>Yum!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We spent last weekend in Normandy with Moka and Ivan.
