It&#8217;s hardly a great amount we have, as this is only the first year I&#8217;m doing it, but it&#8217;s the beginning. There are 3 courgette plants, of which I occasionally pick a courgette, 3 cucumber plants, one in the green house and 2 outside.\u00a0 I love it when one cucumber with breakfast disappears quickly and I can pop outside and get another one. <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2018\/07\/20180708_104126.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2524\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2018\/07\/20180708_104126.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"1138\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the beans. I planted them in a pot that&#8217;s much too small, next spring I&#8217;ll invest in bigger and better containers. But what I picked this afternoon and served alongside kluski slaskie and mushroom sauce- we absolutely loved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2018\/07\/20180714_172750-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2526\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.xs4all.co.uk\/tablefortwo\/files\/2018\/07\/20180714_172750-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"1138\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sweet and delicate, no comparison with what can can be bought in the shop.<\/p>\n<p>We are yet to taste out own tomatoes, I&#8217;m hoping 2-3 weeks I&#8217;ll be able to show\u00a0 them off. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So much joy from growing food!
